Overview:
As part of the Gbaran Phase 3B – Uzu CPF Upgrade project, Mtec Fort Ltd was contracted to provide specialized chemical cleaning services critical to the preparation and commissioning of upgraded infrastructure across the Central Processing Facility (CPF) and its associated pipeline network.

The project aimed to unlock 815Bscf of gas and 11.5MMbbls of oil & condensate, requiring a robust and contamination-free system to ensure optimal performance and safety during operations.

 

Scope of Services by Mtec Fort Ltd

Mtec Fort delivered a comprehensive suite of chemical cleaning and flushing services to support the debottlenecking and integration of new NAG wells, manifolds, flowlines, and bulk lines connected to the CPF. Our services were deployed to:

  • Remove contaminants, scale, and construction debris from new flowlines and process vessels before commissioning.

  • Clean and passivate carbon steel and duplex stainless steel piping to prevent corrosion and enhance operational safety.

  • Ensure hydrocarbon-free conditions for systems ahead of nitrogen purging and leak testing phases.

  • Improve system reliability and integrity across the 6” DSS flowlines, 16” and 20” CS pipelines, slug catchers, and dehydration trains.
